Logging In
You will need to have access through an institution in order to use all the features available on the site, and read the full text of each book. Librarians can find out how to access and faculty, students, and researchers can complete our librarian recommendation form.
If you are on your library’s network, you probably don’t need to log in.You can tell if you are logged in if you can see your library’s name on the left hand side of the home page instead of the log in box-- and if you can see the full content of the WENTK.
If you are not logged in automatically, use the Subscriber login box to log in. The site supports logging in by three ways – ask your librarian which method has been set up for you:
- User name and password. They will be case sensitive.
- Eduserv’s Athens or Shibboleth service. Click on the Sign in via your institution link; find your institution in the dropdown list, and then log in.
- Library card number. Check with your librarian exactly how to enter your library card number.
You can tell if you are logged in if you can see your library’s name on the left hand side of the home page instead of the log in box-- and if you can see the full content of WENTK.
Can't log in?
Your library’s access may only cover a certain number of people looking at the site at once. If you see the message "The simultaneous user limit associated with your subscription has been exceeded" when you try to log in, you’ll need to wait until one of the other readers from your library leaves the site before you can log in.
If you are having trouble logging in, please consult your librarian.
If you are a librarian and have problems logging in or have forgotten your password, please consult our FAQs on access questions.
